Packing Fragile Items So They Survive a UAE Summer Move

A closed truck in July can pass 60°C inside. That is enough to warp vinyl records, soften candle wax into fabric and stress LCD panels. Summer packing is not the same as winter packing.

Screens travel upright, never flat, wrapped in foam sheet rather than bubble wrap alone. Bubble wrap traps heat against the panel; foam sheet with a blanket over it does not.

Glass and mirrors go in a purpose-made mirror carton with corner protectors, packed vertically against the truck wall. Plates go on their edge, like records in a crate — never stacked flat.

Anything liquid, from perfume to cleaning products, gets bagged separately and travels in the car with you if possible. Pressure and heat make caps leak that never leaked before.

Load the truck early. A 7 AM start avoids the worst of the afternoon heat for both your belongings and the crew carrying them.
